About Stockroom

BitSorted Stockroom is private business software used by the BitSorted business. It connects to a Gmail account only after the account owner grants permission through Google OAuth.

Google user data accessed

Stockroom may access Gmail message metadata, message content, attachments and labels required for invoice and order-fulfilment workflows selected by the account owner. It may add or remove workflow labels and change a processed message's read status. Stockroom does not access Gmail for advertising or profiling.

How the data is used

Google user data is used only to identify selected business messages, download relevant invoice or postage-label attachments, create local business records, prevent duplicate processing and update Gmail labels to show processing status.

Storage and sharing

Processed business records and attachments may be stored on the owner's private computer. Google user data is not sold, rented, used for advertising or shared with unrelated third parties. Access is limited to the account owner and software components needed to perform the requested workflows.

Retention and deletion

Local records and attachments are retained for the owner's business and accounting requirements. The owner can delete local data and revoke Stockroom's Google access at any time through their Google Account security settings.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Stockroom's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
